GB&I Belfast Prayer Walk online.jpg

Join us this year for our GB&I prayer walk in the beautiful city of Belfast, Northern Ireland!

Key locations we'll be praying:

1) Stormont (main government seat)

2) Queen's University

3) Peace Wall (separates Catholic & Protestant neighborhoods)

4) Belfast Pentecost Conference

The ETAP hotel Belfast (Dublin Rd) is where our group will be staying. Hotel contact information is below and on the conference website (thebelfastconference.com) by clicking on the "hotels & transportation" tab. You can check out other information through this website also. ETAP is very economical and clean.

Cost for a double room for 11 May is £96 with breakfast. Individuals can contact Rafaela (ETAP group booking manager) and pay for their rooms by card directly by phone. Breakfast is free if reserved on the group booking under my name "Pastor Joe Cooney." There are also triple rooms available at ETAP that will greatly assist with cutting down on costs if needed. The more people per room the cheaper it is.

Individuals need to fly direct into Belfast, either to Belfast City airport (BDH) or Belfast International airport (BFS).

Belfast Intl airport is 30 minutes outside the city. If you fly here you will need to catch a Coach bus £7.50 (one way) into the city with a drop off at the Europa bus terminal. This terminal is a short distance from the ETAP hotel (walking or taxi).

Belfast City airport is much closer to downtown (10 minutes from ETAP hotel). Individuals still need to catch a taxi (£10-12 flat rate) to the ETAP.

Dublin is 2 hrs south of Belfast. If for some reason individuals want to fly into Dublin, they can catch a Coach bus up to Belfast for approximately £10 (one way).

The rest of the weekend the group will be transported around the city in our church van (free of charge) and won't need to worry about transport until it's time to depart Belfast.

£100 or less should easily cover meals per person for the entire weekend. We will be on the go and eating out all weekend.

Northern Ireland operates on the British Stirling Pound. Euros, Dollars etc are not taken here unless you're cashing them in at an exchange. Visa & Mastercard can be used.

The Black Taxi Tour on Saturday is £15 per person. This 2 hr tour will be tremendously educational for every individual on the sectarianism in Belfast. It will also greatly help each person to know how to pray for Belfast after the weekend is concluded.
